unable to send message

Hi, I am unable to send a message to Ian Bezek.  I tried via both the "send message" button in his profile and the mail section of my profile.

The error 500 may have happened due to an intermittent sitewide issue we just resolved, we were having some bugginess this AM.


I tried from your account and was able to type in Ian's first name, wait, and have his name pop up as someone to send a message to. Could you try a different browser, or clearing browser history? There may be something local causing the problem.

If you'd like, you can email us the intended message at subscriptions@seekingalpha.com and we can relay it to Ian. But we'd love to figure out why the message is not going through properly, so any further info you can provide is helpful.


You can also click on Ian's name in chat and send him a message through the chat room.

I figured out that the link "Send message" on https://seekingalpha.com/author/ian-bezek/articles#regular_articles works!


However if I click on "Direct access to the author" on the same page I get "Error 500" or I am taken to https://seekingalpha.com/author/ian-bezek/research.


If I want to go to my mailbox I also see Error 500.

Glad to hear that works. The four icons under Get Marketplace Research by Ian Bezek are all meant to redirect either to his landing page (if you are not subscribed) or the link you mentioned. I'm not sure why you got an error, but we'll look into that, and I understand why that might be confusing.


So if you go to https://seekingalpha.com/inbox you get an error 500? Or only if you try to send a message?

When I go to https://seekingalpha.com/inbox I occasionally get an error 500 (now I don't).


Now, after I click Compose Message on https://seekingalpha.com/inbox I cannot write in the To box.

With a different browser (the Microsoft browser) it works.  I see the text "Choose contact..." and can type.  With Chrome I do not see "Choose contact" and cannot type.  So I guess it is a local problem.

every browser has the different types of quality and functions so interface also different so If you don't know about that how you can change your setting and you can follow this link.
