How do you delete articles after you have read them?

After I have read an article how do I remove them from my in box?

If you mean iPhone or iPad apps, swipe the item left to delete, if you mean the Android app, click the X next to the item.

I am using Samsung phone, tablet, and Windows 10 desktop.  Cannot find a way to delete news stories after I have read them
