New Design

Everytime you guys do a redesign, you always break the format. I cannot understand how the dev team can possibly think that this design is more intuitive and easier to use than the previous format? Prior, most items an SA user would use was within reach on the screen.. Now things are hidden, you have items stacked on each other. I'm ready for the day a competitor takes you out, because this is how you help that happen. 

I think the most important feature, the rolling news, doesn't even update now (again, why is this out of view? Most users are looking for this) and there's only 6 news stories that show up that I can see, being unable to scroll down.
