1) I can no longer delete articles I have already read.

2) I don't see the " bell" for messages directly too me or for messages on articles I previously posted.

3) I don't see my picture with a link to my home page to either update my personal info or see messages

if you can suggest an alternative to SA please let me know. Kids must be running the site now

Completely agree. Phone also gets hot in a few minutes of app use. This looks like a version from a decade ago, when smartphones were just being adopted. Previous version was way better than this garbage. Don't try to improve things if you don't have any good ideas.
