Can't disable app notifications

I'm using the seeking alpha app on Android 4.4.4 on a Samsung Galaxy S4. I can't disable notifications or access the 'Settings' of the app. It just gets stuck in loading but won't load the Settings panel, where I presume I could disable app notifications.

I also can't disable, but with message "service not available, try again later". Whole day :(

Please update the to the current version 4.18.1.1


If the problem persists, try logout/login.
