Lost contents of my portfolio1, only keeping page1. Is there a way to recover?

after upgrade I lost most of my portfolio contents. Is there a way to restore original? I simply upgraded from 3.87 to 3.88 but I now how only page 1 of old content ...so I have to Start over?
