Hi, someone created an account with my email. I tried to delete the account yet I continued receiving emails. Please delete this account and prevent further accounts from using my email. I will not ever be using this site, and especially not with the email in use.

Since it is possible for 2 people to have the same full name, I do not see any reason for you to worry about an account on our site that uses the same name as yours. As you mentioned, since the email is not the same as yours, you will not receive any updates related to the account either.
We cannot disable an account only on the grounds that it uses the same name as yours, I hope you understand our situation.

I also have a similar problem. Someone created a fake account in my name but uses a different email address I do not own. I cannot log into this account because I do not know what the related credentials (email address and password combinations) are. I have another account in order to get a human to get my issue resolved but I have not found any live person at your team who help me out. I sent emails to your team describing my situation but there is still no response on your end. It is horrible as I do not need an account that is handled by someone else using my full name. This person follows users I am not familiar with. Please close this false registration or change my name to an alias that does not refer back to me. Can you take a look at it for me too? It is really frustrating because I wish this account to be removed.
This happened to me, too. I have never heard of this site, then I got a registration confirmation. I have tried to find numerous ways to address this, but none of the communications links work. I cannot log in to the account that apparently someone made for me because I don't have the password, and the link to reset says it can't work. The link you posted to delete or close an account only works if you have access to the account, which I don't have. I had to create a different account to post this, but still cannot access the original account to delete it. This (non)customer experience is terrible, and you all need to seriously create more protections. I responded to my welcome email saying to delete the account. Please respond. I now have to waste my time trying to deal with an account I never created.
FYI: Our security team checked the issue. It came from a bot, and we blocked it and reported it. Sorry about that. Feel free to delete the account from the link I sent prior.
