How do I modify author's pick

I just figured it out. The user interface is not intuitive at all. You need to go to your profile, select a barely visible grey checkmark, refresh the page, then select the new article you want to highlight.
I recommend adding buttons in the Contributor Panel / Manage Articles section.
How do I remove one author's pick so I can add another one?
