Need a way to turn on/off comment notifications for each article/thread

When one adds a comment to any article or thread, one receives notifications whenever anyone else adds a new comment.  There are times when some of these threads go on for many hundreds of comments, and the user may no longer have interest in following the discussion, but is nonetheless forced to receive notifications and delete them, constantly.  It would be an improvement if the user could choose whether to continue to receive notifications for any article or thread, so nuisance notifications could be extinguished.

Thanks.

Hi,

You can go to the user setting https://seekingalpha.com/account/user_settings
and click on none under activity alerts

You can also, Track/Untrack Comments for individual articles from the comment section of the article

Hope this helps, Feel free to reach out in case further assistance is required.

When I try to untrack comments on a specific article, the setting immediately reverts back to track comments.  Like the original poster, I don’t have any interest in continually being notified about hundreds of comments.  I’m using an iPad.
