Having to sign-in to view a linked message why??? I enjoyed being able to stay signed in and open a linked email - or go to the site and have access WITHOUT having to sign in every time !!!

I now have to sign - in every time I have a linked email from the sight with an article pertaining to a chosen subject. I open the email link - and before I can read the article - I have to sign into seeking alpha -- WHY ?? -  I used to just stay signed in and could open something any time I pleased  SUPER annoying to me -- maybe I'm just too picky about my time.

Hi,

We removed autologin from email as a security precaution. As users have very sensitive information linked to their Seeking Alpha accounts, we felt that the risk of a security breach was too great should someone gain access to user inboxes. If you have cookies enabled on your machine, this will prevent you from having to keep on logging in repeatedly.

You appear to be using Firefox. Do you know if you're blocking cookies from 3rd party sites? If so, you need to whitelist seekingalpha.com to not have to log in each time you click from an email on your personal computer or mobile device.

All the best,

I have the same issue. I can't navigate ANYWHERE on the site without having to login EVERY DARNED TIME!! (I'm using Safari browser and cookies are NOT blocked...nor can I find any other thing in the settings or elsewhere that would explain why this is happening.) I sure hope you can fix this issue though...it's highly annoying!!!

on IOS there is no requirement to sign in unless i set it up that way, which i prefer not.

on this website on my mac using safari i am now required to sign in EVERY time which is indeed an annoying hassle!!

i do not feel it is your job to make that decision for the user.  if nothing else, it should be OPTIONAL.

i also cannot see where the mere listing of stocks one may be interested in causes a security challenge.

i have now whitelisted seekingalpha.com on my Adblock and will see if this makes a difference.

Having the same problem with iOS. If I sign into SA, leave to look at another website, I am forced to sign in back in again.

If this helps, I think some of the problem is inherent in the iOS design. Since it does not do true multitasking, I believe this is what causes the trigger to have to sign back in even if a SA browser tab is left open. If you wait too long or tab another web page, you are booted out of SA. Very frustrating.
