I like the broker link thing! Very nice. Vanguard and Fidelity were done and working. Merril Edge, however, had a problem. I tried twice. Yes, I entered the correct username and password. I am using the latest version of Chrome on a Windows 10 with all recent updates. (1908)
It's been over 2 months, I opened a premium support ticket about not being able to link my merrill portfolio. I am told it's an issue with the Plaid service and there is no eta on having it fixed. I asked for a refund on the premium subscription from the time I was not able to use the service to the end of the subscription which I do not think is unreasonable. First, i was offered a discounted renewal rate which I see no point if I can use the functionality to monitor my realtime portfolio. Since I did not reply to this fabulous offer, my account is canceled without any credit for the current subscription. I have only logged in since this issue to see if I can link to my account and to respond to the ticket
I get the same error message (Something went wrong, please log in to your financial istitution and fix it) with TD Ameritrade. I have tried several different times and logged a separate message for my TD Ameritrade issue. So it is definitely a connection issue that Seeking Alpha has to broker accounts. Please fix.
I haven''t been able to connect merrill acct for two weeks from phone or desk top. after password change, I removed accounts and went through setup on mobile. went through verification, select accounts, connecting your accounts and then message says, "Something went wrong You can try again later or find another bank to continue."
This week I tried from browser on laptop with the same result. Obviously, there's a connection from seeking alpha to merrill if it's able to get account list and challenge questions.
