I also have the same issue. Clicking notification open the app but does not open the article. Waits forever or until selecting something in the app.

I have he same issue.. and I tried your comments above with no luck.  this just started 2 days ago... I running Android in a Samsung8+ and it worked fine until 2 days ago..

sorry was having technical  difficulties have you tried simply restarting or device or running a scan or maybe even free up some space or close some running  processes

i can't believe nobody else has commented on this. more than half the time the link won't open when you click on a notification on android (Google 4). the most basic function of your app and it doesn't work!
