What happens when a company sells?

What happens to the shares when a company sells? I am kind of new to this. I am asking because I was looking at WIHMY, which is being bought out by CZR. My question is since it is being bought out, but still trading at $14. CZR is trading around $70, what happens to all the shares I own of WHIMY that are at $14? Do they automatically go over to CZR and are now worth $70?
