Website chat and comments flawed

I recently joined one of the channels here (Data Drive Investments). I have discovered two issues. First issue: when I leave a comment to an article, the comment count remains unchanged. I have made several comments and queries, yet after my username it remains at (1). The second issue is a function of how the chat area works. The chat thread icon in the upper right shows a number for when someone has replied to a thread I have participated in, as expected. When I click on the icon to see which threads, instead of a list of ONLY those threads, I get a list of ALL the threads. If I scroll through the list, I can find a small blue dot on the right indicating a thread that has new content that I participated in. In any other forum online, you get a list ONLY of threads that have new content (that I have participated in), NOT a list of ALL threads in the forum. Get it fixed.

Hi,  Thanks for joining!... The number of comments is meant to show whether the user whose comments you are reading, is a particularly active commenter or not, the number updates itself periodically.   Also, you might still be in moderation if you are a new commenter, we protect our comment community from abuse to try and keep our comment stream on a professional level.

I am not an expert in the chat system, but you can try to view the "Threads" and search for ones you are "Following" as shown below.

(Please note: To reach an expert in subscription functionality from our customer support team, please choose "contact support" in the Help & Support menu which only appears for paying subscribers (or free trialers).

The feedback forum is to report bugs and we do not respond to every post.  Thanks)

Hope this helps,
