Hello,

I've some trouble to understand the difference between the payout ratio into the Financial statements section of a company vs the one indicated in the dividend safety section of a the company.

For example, if I'm taking ABBVIE, Financial Statements

vs ABBVIE dividend Safety section

Hi Goliarth88,

The Div. Payout ratio mentioned in the 'dividend safety' tab is based on EPS FWD (forward-looking EPS) of $10.49, while the one in the Income Statement is based on the Trailing 12 month (TTM) EPS.

Hope this helps, Feel free to reach out in case further assistance is required.
