nobody cares about context for your bad business decision. With competent advertisement management, you wouldn't need to charge people for this nonsense.

Totally agree what SA is doing is very bad and will lose most of your readers.  Very stupid move on SA side.

Seeking Alpha has been a go to website for stock and trade analysis for me.  I look at it everyday, and use the portfolio manager to keep track of my trades and stock wish list.  Unfortunately, I am not in a position to pay for premium service, but otherwise love and recommend the site to others interested in the investing.  This is a sad day, and I hope that SA reconsiders this decision.  Well, it was fun, I'm off to yahoo finance and r/investing.
