I've been a member of the free service for many years. In the last week or two I'm unable to read any article without a promo popping up for a paid SA service which i don't want. There's no way to delete the promo so I can read an article. HELP!!!!!!!!

I have this problem as well.  I think they have eliminated the free service.

Seeking Alpha - please understand I love your site - I know there is paid info and free info.   I have chosen the free info and I know I'm missing out on great articles and info.   However, you have made a business decision to charge for everything, I'm ok with that, it is your site and you hopefully will reward the writers and thinkers for their articles and video's.   I just don't want to pay for it.  So I will be leaving.  If you change your mind let me know.

I am not a premium  member.  I don't intend to be one for now.  I realize that it is a means of getting more membership to your platform, but it could also alienate those that do not want premium membership.  I would just prefer you put an add on the sites and only send me articles that I can actually read.  Otherwise I will be inclined to get my news on stocks elsewhere as Scoomes 13 above seems to have done.  Nothing is more annoying than to click on an article and it tell me it is only available to premium subscribers.  Then do not send it to me in the first place!  You know I am not a premium subscriber.

Just read your new "Policy".  While I understand, I am also leaving.  Au Revoir!

bye-bye seeking alpha. you've just eliminated a lot of wasted time for me reading articles that are seriously outdated by authors who let their marketplace subscribers read them at least a week earlier. i was a willing subscriber to the free service, but no more. too many other free alternatives.
