agreed... would subscribe to the service if it had that feature... too many "authors" writing non value add articles... i want to block them and not let it waste my time, but i can't.

I bet there are authors who wish they could block certain commenters.
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out.
Unfortunately, we currently do not have this feature available, but, your opinion matters to us.
I have noted this feedback and will make sure to pass it along to our Product team and developers for further review and consideration.
Please note you can "mute" the author instead.
Go to an article by the author you want to mute on the Seeking Alpha desktop website. Next to their name, you’ll find a small “Mute” button. Click on it.
Alternatively, go to the author’s page by clicking on the author's name. On the right hand side of the page, click on “Mute [author’s name]”.
Hope this helps! Feel free to reach out in case further assistance is required.

Thanks Shubham,
I muted an author but his articles still show up in the analysis section.
What does muting an author actually do?
Having a block feature would greatly improve the value of seekingalpha by allowing subscribers to filter out permabears or permabulls or people who are just wrong most of the time.
