Limiting Access to Content is a losing proposition

I have purchased some subscription services via Seeking Alpha in the past. The problem is one must read a lot of marginal content in order to find an author whose content is worth purchasing. Limiting access limits a reader's ability to evaluate content. Seeking Alpha produces no real content. So basically one is paying for the privilege of sifting through a lot of marginal content to find an analyst whose work is worth purchasing. That being the case the subscription prices are not a good value and with my ability to evaluate content limited, I will be spending a lot less time on Seeking Alpha.
