Not true. I hold several stocks on the TSX and TSX.v that are not searchable on Seeking Alpha...and with over 2M Wealthsimple subscribers in Canada, Seeking Alpha still hasn't provided the ability to add them as a brokerage. For all the benefits this platform brings, Canadians will not subscribe to premium features when basic information is not supported! Also have noticed that when a company undergoes a stock ticker name change, or have been upgraded from one exchange to another, the changes are not reflected. Having to track my portfolio manually as well as add tickers as they show on US exchanges does not present an accurate view and value of holdings.
I manage both US and CAD portfolios and CAD support on SA is sadly lacking. I do hope you continue to expand your coverage of the TSX.
Yes, I can enter a CAD stock symbol and pull up a page with some info about it but that's only helpful if I know what I want. I'm using SA to conduct analysis and I have not found any way to search across the TSX stocks as a whole to find the Canadian stocks in a particular sector I want to invest in.
