For some reason SA refuses my comment on a article ("Yikes' something went wrong"). What can I about it?

I am wondering if your issue is the same as mine running iOS 12.5.1 on one of my devices https://feedback.seekingalpha.com/en/communities/1/topics/170317-cannot-post-comments-at-all-using-ios-1251 I have never seen it this bad.

Yes, it's the same on my desktop with Firefox.

I wonder whether this reply will come through.

Same issue for me. As soon as I try to comment on an article or somebody’s comments, I get the “Yikes, something went wrong page”. I’m using an Ipad running iOS 12.0.1 so I doubt the operating system is the cause. Maybe Seeking Alpha muted our ability to post? I sent them an email but no response. Very strange.

And yet, we can post comments in this forum. Who knows what the cause is. I wisk SA would reply to my email. Maybe we should all send them multiple emails until they response or fix the problem.

The funny part is they sent me an email to try a free premium trial period. Certainly not going to pay them anything if they don’t fix a basic problem such as this.

If you read the link I provided, iOS 14.4 does not show this issue (nor does Windows). Within the link is a conversation I had with tech support where they did blame the older OS. Yet they did solve the formatting issue which you can read in the link I provided.

This is a problem for me as iOS 12.5.1 is only 43 days old. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/IOS_version_history

@eemoon :

Just a heads up that this forum uses “userecho” which is different than what the website is using.

Updated to iOS 14.4 and that seems to have fixed the problem.

Unfortunately, not all devices can be updated to iOS 14.4 which is very frustrating since no other website I frequent has this issue. Apple considers 12.5.1 as current and supported.
