Firefox desktop notifications

Getting desktop notifications is extremely useful when it comes to watching news on stocks, but Chrome makes me want to smash my computer and never use the internet again.  Firefox is objectively far superior to Chrome, and everyone should be using it. 

Hyperbole aside, do you have plans to support Firefox's desktop notification system or do you just want everyone to use Chrome and hate their lives?  (OK, maybe I wasn't done with the hyperbole).
