You confirmed on January 4, 2018 that my request to discontinue my subscription woul;d take effect as of the end of the day January 31, 2018, yet today, February 2, 2018, your daily email suggests that my subscription is still in effect. What's going on?

Thanks for the message. The last date of your subscription was yesterday, February 4th. You won't be charged again and your access has expired. Please let us know if we can help with anything else.
