Disable spammy Android "Trade Alerts" from 'Data Driven Investor'

A couple of times now I've received an Android notification (top of screen icon) for a 'Trade Alert' which turns out to be an advertisement for a 'Data Driven Investor' subscription. I can't find anyplace in the settings where I might be permitting a 'Trade Alert'.  Did this service somehow hack SA?  Or any ideas on how I can disable these alerts?
