I understand SA is considering a monthly charge for accessing articles over 30 days. You have created such good will, why are you destroying it? I won't pay that fee under any circumstances. I will just use seeking alpha less, so fewer eyeballs.

Looks like pretty much every "analysis" article now required PRO.  SA just became useless.

This uplift has helped me to curb my semi-addiction to the comments section(s). Fun guys and gals.

I think Seeking Alpha is making a big mistake if they follow thru with this dumb idea.  I seen numerous comments from many on different articles saying they will leave Seeking Alpha and go elsewhere for info.  Don't ruin a good thing like Yahoo did, Seeking Alpha.

$75/month?  That's outrageous.  There is plenty other content out there for far less money that is just as good.  You don't have a value proposition that is even remotely close to what you are asking for.

The problem is that this will lock out most investors, and the comments on the articles will dry up.  The comments for me were the essential part of Seeking Alpha.  As important as the articles.  With less people participating, the comments will drop down significantly, and that makes Seeking Alpha a less valuable website to me for stock information.  I have participated in stock forums since 1990 on Prodigy, so I know how important the comments section can be.
