Chat Filter Feature
Dear SA Team:
I really enjoy using the chat feature in the premium service I pay for.
One of the top reasons I pay for the service (and also a top reason why some of the other members I've talked to pay) is to avoid wasting time reading/being exposed to commentators and author(s) that we aren't interested in.
As the premium service that I subscribe to has grown, the chat participation and user count has increased within the service. Unfortunately, I don't like reading everyone's comments or skimming them for that matter, especially when I'm paying. I do not see a way to filter out (silence) certain participants from the premium service chat feed or from the comments section on the articles in the premium service.
This is a huge deal for me and some of the other pay-to-read subscribers I've spoken to; it is a make or break feature in terms of our willingness to keep paying for our subscriptions(s). We need some way to filter the chat and the article comments of particular users so they don't show in the SA interface of our premium service subscription(s).
Has there been any dialogue or thought about adding a filter feature like this? Thank you for your time.

We are looking at ways to make chat easier to use, especially given the growth of users across the board. Your feedback is timely and we will keep this in mind as we work on this problem. Thanks again for sharing your comments, and I hope you'll see improvements over the coming months.
