new cursor visibility

The new cursor that was installed in the past week or so gives cause to concern, in that the highlighted item in the message MUST be positioned in either the top third or the bottom third of the message prior to being highlighted, because the highlighted item when shown does not realize any screen boundaries and in most cases shows only a partial display on screen with more or some of the display being off screen.  Also the display repeats some of the other elements already on the screen in a different position and really serves no purpose, because something already exists that can be clicked on for additional information.  It is extremely unfriendly and causes for the user to be sensitive to highlight the item wanting to be viewed in more detail, for location.  News articles listed below the stock highlighted tracking information only create more fluff on the display page.
