The offer of a 50% discount on a yearly subscription for Seeking Alpha

If your regular/discounted yearly rate is $239, how is $180 per year a 50% discount? 

Offering a 50% discount on the monthly rate with its premium for short term accounts as a 50% improvement over your standard full year subscription/discount reflects an unfair (I will choose my words carefully) comparison.

Having the first two weeks free are a standard offer and not really part of any unusual special.

I think that most readers of your financial advisory are savvy enough to spot this sleight of hand. It only generates ill will. 

Very disappointed. I will stay away.

The 50% discount offer (billed up front at $179/year) would in turn give you access to Premium for $14.99/month.

Very reasonable, and typical 50% discount so nobody should be confused. For me, the important point is the tremendous value offered by the subscription for such a small price. Very fair and reasonable.

There are so many interpretations of the 50% off.  Usually like most investors, we are thinking of the whole 50% off as a whole year, $239.  So the right number is $119.50.  Anyway, it's your business.  You cannot fool people forever.

Thank you for sharing your opinion; I rarely see honest bad reviews for such situations. It seems that now too many internet cheaters appeared because people were massively dismissed from their jobs, as firms could not cope due to the economic crisis during the coronavirus pandemic. The only thing that pleases me at this time is that at least I don't have to pay a lot of money for delivery since I now do it very often because my city is quarantined. I often see services by type https://www.dontpayfull.com/explore, which provides great discounts when ordering parcels from large stores. It's nice, because it feels like caring about people
