Notifications badge on iPad OS won’t clear after 5.2.3 installed.

As the title says the notifications badge won’t clear after 5.2.3 installed. Thanks.

Hi all,

Deleting or clearing messages from the message screen does not in any way reset the message counter (badge number).




The message counter is synchronized with the number of web portal messages.





If a user wants to clear the entire messages, click “Clear All“ .





If a user wants to delete a certain message, click on the right and select “Clear“.



If this does not resolve the issue, please take a screenshot of the application icon (with the badge number) and a screenshot of the web portal where the messages are displayed.

Same, i looked everywhere for some reason the badge is staying on, nothing.

I updated my app to 5.2.3 today and I am also having the same issue.  I have a notification badge of “1” on the home screen where the App icon is.  It won’t go away now.  It was fine before the update.

any chance that this is getting fixed anytime soon? If not I will be turning off notifications.
