URL problem

I registered as a contributor and wanted to enter the URL for my website. I keep getting this error message i.e. "invalid URL". Can you please let me know the reason why? It is a WordPress website

We only support standard domains (.com, .net. etc..). You can use Bitly or another link shortener to make it into a standard URL. For example: http://bit.ly/2GKUriW
