No one else is totally put off by this redesign? I don't mean be overdramatic, but latest news is pretty useless. Shame, it's been my hourly check-in on what's up for years.

You're not alone. There is another thread discussing this issue. And no, you're not being overdramatic. The redesign really impacts my usage too.
