Portfolio Performance Tracking

Is there a way to chart your own portfolio's performance versus market indices?

It would be very illuminating to be able to chart your portfolio's performance back in time vs the broader market at its current composition & allocations, or to track its actual day-to-day value (maybe adjusting for position additions?) against the market contemporaneously. Even just being able to see an overall 3-month, 6-month, etc. performance history (from either of the above metrics) would be really neat.
