slow, unusable performance on Android

For at least the last 2 years, Seeking Alpha on Android works in fits and starts.  Sometimes the performance is crisp and responsive.  Other times the performance is unusable and the app simply loads a blank screen.  Bandwidth is not the primary factor as my Samsung Galaxy S21 is connected to gigabit WiFi.  Clearing the cache usually does the trick, but these performance challenges seem to happen quite frequently.
