Annoying yellow advert bar across top of screen

Got a really annoying yellow advertisement across the top of my screen.  Why am I paying to be a premium member?

I have no intetest in Michael Boyd's energy service.  Shut this off before I shut my account down ans save myself a bunch of money.

I too find these banners annoying, for those of us that are premium subscribers at least give us an option to disable these ads. Also, on mobile phones more often than not clicking on the cross to remove the add doesn't work but instead takes you straight to the advertiser. Its very annoying.

Hi,

There should be an option to simply close these and not see them again. Do you not have that option?

No. On my cellphone, touching the advert takes me to it.

I have canceled my subscription, will review again next year if I want to allocate any of my research budget to SA.  This feels like a huge let down, as I have been a paying member for a long time, and pay to avoid unwanted distractions.
