After my comments disappeared I looked at my profile and it said I have made 0 comments. Pretty sure they just deleted them all.
My issue isn't quite the same then. I see my comments in my profile, just not in the thread.
I think I have the same/similar issue. In my case I don't think all my comments have been deleted. It appears that others can see my comments but I can't. This is my belief because if I leave a comment, other reply, but I can't see my comment in the comment thread.
