Forwarding to spam sites

I’m getting forwarded from my iPad to weird sites while I’m browsing seekingalpha.com.  The site domains vary, but the last one was like giftcenterkisimee.ooo.  It’s a JavaScript forward and I have to close the tab to escape it...  are others experiencing this?  It only happens while browsing sa.  Thanks, Jon
