Factor Grades: AMN Healthcare has a growth grade D, although no sector relative grade is lower than B-. How is that possible?

The growth grade measures the company’s growth relative to other stocks in its sector. The growth grade is derived from a comparison of the stock’s historical growth metrics, such as growth in revenue, EPS, and cash flow, and analysts’ estimates of future growth, to those of the other stocks in its sector. The overall growth grade is derived from a comparison of the aggregate of all the underlying metrics, and is therefore not an average of the grades for each underlying metric.
