there is only one way to change a linked portfolio that I can find: delete the whole thing.

What I'm trying to over come is a faulty Seeking Alpha link that keeps importing double amounts for only one asset [CASH].

pulling my hair out ......... not much left anyway

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry about the issue.

The portfolios linked to your broker account will change/update automatically unless you have MFA (two-factor authentication ) enabled.

If you have MFA enabled, every time you log in, you will need to delink and re-link, only then it will be updated. We apologize for the inconvenience.

In case you don't have MFA enabled, please delink and relink again and see if it gets updated. If it still won't update, do let me know.

Hope this helps! Feel free to reach out in case further assistance is required.

THAT is probably it! Somehow ... Chase long ago enabled 2-factor on my Android and I can't get it disabled.

The other banks - Ally and TD AMeritrade - don't have this problem. That explains why the Chase acc't requires frequent re-linking.

However - that still does not explain why:

  • the asset labeled "CASH" shows up as a double entry, or
  • the asset labeled "QACD"   "             "         "

Counting my cash portion and the sweeps twice or three times makes the total wrong and the display of not much use.

THIS is what I need you to tell me - how to manually delete an asset in my portfolio holdings screen???????????????/

Thanks,
