"Add View" views do not save?

Why do the customized views that you can create when looking at a portfolio--when you click "Add View" and you start creating "My View"--not save? They surely must be able to be saved, no? If not, that seems like an obvious upgrade. I really like the Add View functionality and appreciate its recent addition to the platform, but it is kind of useless if you have to re-do you view every time you open Seeking Alpha...
