Unable to open articles on iPad. Can only open on iPhone but too small to read!!

When I try to open any article on my iPad either within the app or from an email notification I get a half second "no internet connection" at the top of the article column and then it disappears and the page disappears on my screen. When minimized there is an open page but not the article I was looking for. I thought this was fixed with the last app fix in Apple fixes but it has returned.
