Notifications of new comments Does NOT work

When I log in, I see that there are new comments on articles that I have previously read, but when I click on the notification bell, the number disappears and I am NOT taken to or shown the new comments for articles previously read.  SA is getting harder and harder to use and LESS user friendly and seems to be more about charging more fees and forcing users to pay for info that used to be free.  SA seems to be killing the Golden Goose that made SA so popular.

Hi,

Can you please share the article where you encountered this problem? If you can include the full URL (i.e. web address from the address bar) which shows up after you click the notification that would be great.
