What do content contributors think about this?

I understand that SA is entitled to charge for the value they deliver through this platform, but I'd like to know what contributors of content think about the cutoff of virtually all free access, which means we cannot read the free content they were using to promote their paid service subscriptions. What do the big contributors think about the dropoff in traffic? Presumably they are going to have a much harder time acquiring new subscribers. 

Of course, beyond all that it's absolutely amazing the shambolic way in which SA has handled this transition: no clear rules, no link for technical or account support (when people are obviously experiencing problems with subscriptions they've bought) etc., etc.
