On my trial period I am still not able to open stories says I have reached my limit.

This was a wonderful site in the past. Locking down articles and comments to try to force people to pay more is despicable. I have 4 services I subscribe to but I have no more free articles. The owners have turned into the same horrible money grubbing strong armed SOBs like our government.

In October 2022, I suddenly (after about 3 years) started receiving "you have reached your article limit" messages. I have been reading articles frequently prior to that with no alert messages. No warning regarding a "5 article limit". When I check my "articles read" list, it includes all the previews I clicked on but was unable or had no desire to read (most fell in the latter category). My true 5 article limit did not reset in November.
This is no longer a "free" service I can count on, so I will look for alternatives. I have stopped following all but my current paid subscriptions to Seeking Alpha authors, both of which I found via your free articles. Whatever is going on, I don't have time to troubleshoot and do not judge your premium service to be worth the investment. Conversation with customer service is near impossible.
P.S. Your Seeking Alpha Rocket chat experience is miserable.
