SA thinks I am two different people,because I signed up with my obsolete hotmaIL 

address, k.gaughran@hotmail.com.  This email was hacked over a year ago and now am using k.gaughran@yahoo.com.  You send me emaiIs to the correct yahoo account,however when I tried to change my profile and settings using yahoo account,they say that it is already taken and put in obsolete default account-please help

This account k.gaughran@yahoo.com already exists, so you cannot change your hotmail account to it.

Simply log out of the web site, since you are currently logged in with the hotmail email, and log in again with the yahoo email.
