Comments deleted

Hi. Last night I responded to a user commenting on this article - https://seekingalpha.com/news/3917683-sen-brown-says-marijuana-banking-will-wait-until-2023-but-notes-republican-interest-punchbowl?v=1671162270#comment-94023818 - who made a clearly racist statement. I reported his comments and then replied voicing my disapproval of the aforementioned racist comment. Seeking Alpha proceeded to delete my comments. Why? There was no ambiguity regarding the racial implication of the comment I replied to, so this makes zero sense to me.
