monitored comments

I have been a big fan and  subscriber since the beginning. Over the years I have made hundreds of comments/questions without incident, but today several comments were pulled for monitoring. None of the comments were disrespectful, or out of line. Rather, it was a simple question about numbers which in fact the author later adjusted and wrote off as being a typo. Please advise what exactly warranted my obviously legitimate question. being pulled.
