Ads on frontpage

Not sure what changed but the ads on the frontpage are crushing load times and lagging the page a lot.  I can open a dozen pages of Yahoo, ESPN and the like at the same time and get near zero performance hit on any of them.  One single tab of SA stutters as it loads, hangs and then jumps around the page, or sometimes just breaks altogether.  It is a fairly recent phenomenon, the last two or three weeks that I've noticed it.  I specifically leave ad blocker of for SA but that is going to change if the ad problem doesn't get solved.
