Notifications area is not cleared after deletion using the delete button.

Please investigate why since after the recent update, deletion of notifications does not clear the notification area after delete confirmation. The only way to verify the deletion worked is to exit and re-enter the notification area. My device is sn LG5 running the latest Android.
