TX ticker shows the next dividend in May will be 12 cents. In actuality it will be $1.20 per share.

For confirmation can look at earning slides and see that dividend is $1.20

I really didn't know how to report this, but the issue I have is that if you look at the Last Announced Dividend here:  https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/TX/dividends/scorecardyou will see that the amount is 12 cents.   By the way, not at all trying to argue... Just trying to help correct...

If you look at the 5th slide in the https://seekingalpha.com/article/4242901-ternium-s-2018-q4-results-earnings-call-slides  shows that the proposed Dividend is $1.20

Hi - my read on this is that $1.20 is a proposed ANNUAL figure that needs to be approved by the BoD.

Hi - my read on this is that $1.20 is a proposed ANNUAL figure that needs to be approved by the BoD.

Amital, TX pays one Dividend per year.

The last announcement date here: https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/TX/dividends/scorecard shows that the payment wlll be 12 cents.  Which is not correct, but it does contradict your comment that BoD has to approove.

Also Nasdaq shows the amount as 1.20  here: https://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/tx/dividend-history

Dividend.com shows the 1.20 as well here: https://www.dividend.com/dividend-stocks/basic-materials/steel-and-iron/tx-ternium-sa/

Here is another site: https://www.marketbeat.com/stocks/NYSE/TX/dividend/

Again, I am not trying to argue... just trying to point out the inconsistency since they did not announce the Dividend would be 12 cents....
