Herky Jerky scrolling due to the constant reshuffling of your stories

It's impossible to smoothly scroll the homepage because the image is constantly being updated by the shuffling of your top stories.  When I try to move down the page there is a pause and then I am teleported to the bottom of the page or some to a location that misses my desired destination.  When I try to move back up, BAM I am teleported someplace else on the page.  This makes the hunt for interesting information a frustrating exercise.  I love your site but this is a definite downer.  MY IDEA: Fix It!
